Buku-buku yang kubaca di tahun 2007 dan 2006

Di bawah ini daftar buku buku yang kubaca di tahun 2007 dan 2006. Aku urutkan dari yang paling akhir kubaca, sampai yang dulu (kronological, tapi terbalik). Sebagian besar buku buku ini adalah hasil pinjaman dari teman, atau dari perpustakaan gereja. Thank you, Tris, buat emailnya. Posting kali ini tentang scrapbooking. Asik juga loh, Moms, buat scrapbook bareng anak-anak. Dan bahannya bisa apaa saja. Dari kertas bekas, pita, stiker, potongan majalah dll. Biasakan jika pergi ke suatu tempat, simpan kenang-kenangan dari tempat itu. Misalnya tiket masuk dari suatu theme park, tatakan gelas atau table mat dari restaurant, electronic plastic card key dari hotel dll. Benda-benda seperti itu asik banget untuk ditaro di scrapbook beserta foto-foto, jadi di tahun-tahun depan, kita bisa lihat lihat scrapbook yang kita buat di masa lalu sambil bernostalgia.

Di bawah ini sites untuk membuat huruf-huruf dengan berbagai design/font yang asik asik (ada yang kelap kelip segala). Tinggal pilih design dan masukkan teks, lalu bisa di save as file gambar (klik kanan lalu save as) untuk di insert di word atau di print. Berguna untuk membuat judul dll untuk di tempel di scrapbook. (Kadang aku juga buat label nama anak dengan cara begini. Tinggal di print, gunting dan tempel).

Untuk membuat digital scrapbook, ini salah satu software yang bisa di-download
(tapi aku belum pernah pakai. Karena buat scrapbook paling enak sistim manual, dengan kertas, lem dan gunting :)

Tips
1. Scrapbook bukan aktivitas yang dilakukan sekaligus. Tapi merupakan aktivitas yang dicicil. Setiap berapa waktu, jika baru ada peristiwa penting atau yang mengesankan, kita bisa membuat halaman scrapbook baru. Maka dari itu, setiap kali membuat scrapbook page, gunakan ukuran kertas yang sama, sehingga akan mudah untuk dijilid setelah banyak. Atau bisa gunakan selalu ukuran kertas A4, dan hasil hasilnya tinggal di simpan di dalam ordner. Ordner pun bisa dihias.
2. Daripada print background scrapbook dari internet, lebih baik gunakan kertas kado bekas. Irit tinta printer, dan hasilnya juga lebih bagus.
3. Ingat! Apa saja bisa dijadikan materi scrapbook. Brosur, majalah, kertas tissue restoran, sendok plastic dari pesawat terbang, bungkus permen (yang disukai anak kita), label produk (label shampoo pertama yang digunakan anak kita), potongan tempat popcorn waktu kita pertama kali pergi nonton, potongan kantong plastic toko tempat kita beli sesuatu yang anak kita suka dll dst.

Dear Moms, Dads, Teachers and Friends…

Thank you buat semua email-email yang menanyakan apa dan kapan children books ku yang selanjutnya terbit. Untuk menjawab Moms semua, untuk 1 minggu ke depan aku mengadakan "open house" dapur. Sedikit cuplikan seri-seri buku yang lagi "dimasak" bisa dilihat di sini.

Judul-judulnya masih rahasia, dan waktu terbitnya adalah tahun 2008 (bulannya belum pasti, nanti dikabarin lagiii :)

Oh ya, untuk Moms yang nanyain buku buku yang cocok untuk boy readers, di sini ada loh (ada yang tokohnya beruang, ada yang anjing). Kalo untuk girls, seperti biasa, selalu ada hehe :.
